Application
Straps with silicone treatment are always used on apparel accessories such as waistband for pants, pull cord for hoodies, band for luggage bags or head band for ski, motocross and helmet goggles, etc. Straps with silicone treatment are not only chosen for its artistic purpose but also for functional purpose, which is to provide a certain level of anti-slippery function to the strap.
Production procedures
To build straps with silicone treatment, we have to build the sublimation strap or jacquard strap first and then we apply the silicone treatment on it.
The silicone treatment can be of any shape or color, it can be applied on both the front side of the straps and the back side of the straps.
Most silicone treatment on the front side of the straps are to add more color or a more attracting logo for artistic purpose. But some others apply the treatment on the back side to add more friction to the strap so as to prevent slippery. We can also do silicone treatment on both the front and back side.
No matter what kind of silicone treatment you apply, the elasticity and color of straps stays the same.
